The Project

To bridge the digital divide in rural Nigeria, Project Digital Rural was developed which aimed at equipping out of school youths in rural Nigeria. Launched at Ikorodu, Lagos- home to over 15 villages, this projects aims to provide participants with basic digital literacy skills. such as Microsoft tools proficiency, online safety, graphics design and also trains them on intermediate digital skills, such as software development, using Html, CSS, Javascript and React to build web applications, as well as personalized mentorship and counselling for the participants. The young people who participate in the project are also provided with access to internship opportunities after completion of the training.
