Celebrate with us and join our virtual event!

After two years of investing in and supporting youth-led solutions to address the negatives effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on young people in their communities, the Big 6 Youth Organizations, funded by the World Health Organization (WHO), through the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, and the United Nations Foundation (UNF), invite you to participate and join a celebration of the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) initiative, looking back over the last two years of youth-centred global action, investment and leadership now and in an post pandemic world!

Sessions:

All sessions will be broadcast live and discussions will be organized through social media channels to enable as many young people to join the conversation and share their thoughts.

What are the objectives of GYM Virtual Event?

The objectives and aims of the virtual events are to celebrate the completion of our activities over the last two years, to look back at the achievements of GYM and showcase the impact of youth-led solutions to address the needs of young people now and in a post-COVID-19 world.

How can I participate in the GYM Virtual Event?

We want you to join us! Firstly, you can participate by registering to attend. Secondly you can participate by getting yourself involved in our online questionnaires and activities. Keep an eye out on our social media platforms for more information coming soon!

How will the GYM Virtual Event be structured?

The event will be held online via YouTube, you can watch the sesssions on our Facebook page.

Do I have to pay to attend?

No, this a free event.

Do I have to have received funding from the Global Youth Mobilization to take part in the virtual event?

No, the opportunity to watch live broadcast sessions is open to all and not linked to any funding through national project or local solutions.

What languages will the event be held in?

Plenary will be translated from English to Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian and potentially Mandarin. Breakout sessions will be presented in multiple languages.
